As commented in the forum: The problem does not occur with XCP-ng 7.6. Something on the install media must have been changed. Also I watched the boot process more carefully and found a [DEPEND] Dependency failed for XCP-ng installer. I could see before, that udev is waiting for something – but for whatever reason it doesn’t tell for what:
